atalos began with a single sweatshirt, worn for 45 years and still intact.

It was never precious. It was simply well made, and it lasted long enough to become something more than clothing. That is the idea behind everything we make.

atalos is a New York house of uncommon staples: seasonless pieces made to be worn every day and kept for a lifetime. We value depth over display. There are no logos. The work speaks through material, weight, finish and construction.

Our first piece, the Fleming Sweatshirt, is cut from heavyweight loopback cotton and made in Portugal,
with a hood lined in 100% Italian cashmere. Fleming is a family name, carried through generations, just like the garment it's named for.
